Assessing the Potential Demand for Autonomous Electric Transit Along the Rail Trail Corridor Connecting Major Urban Destinations

What is the survey about?

The UiTR lab is working with the City of Kelowna to conduct research on Okanagan Rail Trail users and their preferences for potential autonomous transit services on that corridor.

Are there any incentives to the participants?

Survey participants can enter to win 1 of 25 $20 prizes.

How can I participate in the survey?

You can participate in the survey by visiting our surveying team at any of our locations along the Okanagan Rail Trail.

When can I participate?

The survey will be conducted starting September 17th and running until September 29th.

Who can participate?

Anyone over the age of 18 who uses the Okanagan Rail Trail.

How long does it take to complete the survey?

The survey will take 4-5 minutes to complete.

How will the information be protected?

Confidentiality of the data will be strictly maintained. The data will not be shared with a 3rd party and will only be utilized for research purposes. This online questionnaire is administered by the UBC-hosted version of Qualtrics. Data will be securely stored in the UBC facility in Canada.
